If you’ve been looking for a seasoned, broke, honest team that can go to work and make you look like you’ve been doing it your whole life, take a look at Rip and Casey. These two Belgian geldings have been hooked to just about every farm machine you can think of. They know what a real day’s work is, and they are the kind of horses that make a job enjoyable instead of stressful. Safe. Willing. Experienced. Honest. You can put the lines in just about anybody’s hands. In fact, you barely have to hold them because these boys know their job and will handle most of their work right off voice commands. Rip is the leader of the team. At 14 years old and standing 16.3 hands, he is the powerhouse. When there’s a load that needs moving, Rip will give you everything he’s got. Casey is 16 years old and stands 16.2 hands. He’s a little more laid-back than Rip, but when things get tough, he digs in and goes to work right alongside him. And these two match up about as good as you could make a team. They’ve hauled more vegetables than you’ve probably eaten at your local buffet! They will stand in the field all day by themselves and never step away. They know “get up” and “whoa,” and you only need to say it once. Put them on the road and they are just as dependable. You could have the biggest string of bull haulers blow right by them and they wouldn’t bat an eye. You simply can’t faze these two. This is the kind of team the weekend farmer, family, or first-time teamster is looking for. A pair that knows their job, stays broke, and will make you look like a pro. Rip & Casey are sound in every way and ready to go to work. If you’ve been waiting on a team that you can actually enjoy working, don’t overlook these two. They’re the real deal.
